Dear FAA Community,

In May, the energy and vibrancy of spring are fully upon us, bringing with them a renewed sense of purpose and anticipation. Pre-K children are getting ready for Kindergarten, Fifth graders presented their Exit Projects enhancing this traditional milestone with a special connection to the Sustainable Development Goals, and 8th graders shared their year-long project to design a product to assist a paralympic athlete.

Alongside, we have introduced our team for the next school year, and some exciting new developments in our curriculum such as MAP Reading Fluency and new electives in Middle School.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the upcoming Alumni Reunion on June 6. This event is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with past students and integrate our newest graduates into the alumni community.

Lastly, this is the last day to sign up for our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament which will take place on June 3rd at the prestigious Knickerbocker Country Club. Join us to support education!

With gratitude,

Anne-Sophie Gueguen,

Founder and Head of School

Students Compete and Unite at the FAA Olympic Games

During the games, preschoolers participated in activities focused on teamwork and physical fitness, while elementary students gathered in Englewood for their own competitions. The games involved mixed-age groups and campuses in cooperative activities, boosting school spirit and reinforcing unity within the FAA community.

Happy Anniversary, JC FAA!

Happy Anniversary, JC FAA! Our school on 3rd Street officially opened its doors for full-time students in the fall of 2012. To celebrate this milestone our PTO threw a fantastic gala with food and drinks, stories and entertainment, and lots of dancing.

Sustainable Development

Capturing the 17 SDGs Through Photography

Englewood and Jersey City Campuses participated in the AEFE challenge "Phot'ODD," in which they used photography to illustrate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This project allowed students to think critically about how to visually represent each goal in a single picture while raising awareness about the SDGs.

Teacher's Spotlight

Chloé Leguem, Our PE Instructor

Just about every one of our elementary and middle school students has gotten to know and love our PE instructor, Chloe Leguem. She’s a fascinating person who exemplifies the open-mindedness and joy we all strive for at the FAA. And maybe we’re just a touch jealous that she gets to come to work in sports apparel every day? Learn more about Chloe’s love of sports, children, and travel in our May Teacher Spotlight.
