When we look at this month’s highlights, it’s clear how far we’ve come from the kind of education many of us grew up with — one centered on memorization, repetition, and just learning facts. For much of the last century, classrooms were designed to mirror the needs of the Industrial Age: orderly, quiet, and focused on routine.
